Why we are more than an academy?
Not just fun Oracle/Tarot Cards! We use these card readings to help put the grammar into context and above all to help memorise those tricky structures. Students love them 😍 and by reading each others cards they are practicing the structures non stop and without realising. They are also widening and repeating really high frequency vocab. We are also very surprised at how accurate these cards are and that they actually work... magical! 😱🧙♀️ but woo woo! 😳 but that's for another post!
This activity can be extremely funny 😂 and attaching this type of emotion to a learning process is always a winner! 🏆 Extremely effective with FCE and CAE exam students💯 to help with Use of English section but also to really improve their confidence for the speaking part.
They are personalised according to with whom we are doing the readings and where we are.
¡No solamente unas cartas del Tarot divertidas! Usamos estas cartas para poner la gramática en un contexto que ayude a memorizar esas estructuras que a veces cuestan más. Los alumnos las adoran y al hacer lecturas a sus compañeros las practican sin darse cuenta al mismo tiempo que expanden y repiten vocabulario que se usan frecuentemente. estamos también muy sorprendidas de lo precisas que son estas cartas... mágicas! Pero eso es para otro post.
Esta actividad puede ser realmente divertida y atraer este tipo de emoción hacia un proceso educativo ¡siempre resulta en victoria! Es una actividad extremadamente efectiva con estudiantes de First y Advanced para ayudarles con el Use of English, pero también para ayudarles a afianzar su confianza en el Speaking.
